Windows & Doors
Cut your energy bills and quiet your home with properly installed replacement windows and doors (Lic. #1092628) serving Southern California.
Window & Door Replacement in Los Angeles
A great window installed badly performs worse than an average window installed correctly. Most replacement problems — drafts, leaks, sticking sashes — come from poor flashing and out-of-square openings, not the product. We install for a weather-tight, square, smooth-operating result. It’s part of our home remodeling services.

Signs It’s Time to Replace
Old windows and doors quietly cost you money and comfort every month.
- Drafts you can feel near the frame
- Condensation or fog between the panes
- Sashes that stick, drop, or won’t lock
- Rooms that never stay comfortable
- Outside noise coming through clearly
- Rotted, warped, or painted-shut frames
What to Look for in New Windows
A handful of specifications drive nearly all of the real-world performance.
- Dual-pane insulated glass — the baseline standard
- Low-E coating — blocks heat, keeps light
- Quality frames — vinyl, fiberglass, or clad wood
- Proper U-factor & SHGC — rated for our climate
- Solid hardware — locks and balances that last
- Correct sizing — measured to the actual opening

Window & Door FAQs
How much does window replacement cost in Los Angeles?
Installed replacement windows typically run about $650 to $1,400 per window, depending on size, frame material, and glass package. Large sliders, custom shapes, and multi-panel doors cost more. Whole-house projects usually land somewhere between $10,000 and $30,000. We quote per opening so you can see exactly what drives the cost.
Will new windows actually lower my energy bills?
Yes, particularly if you are replacing single-pane windows. Dual-pane glass with a Low-E coating substantially reduces heat gain through LA summers and heat loss on cold nights. Most homeowners notice improved comfort and less air-conditioning runtime right away.
How long does it take to replace windows?
Once the units arrive, most homes are completed in one to three days depending on the number of openings. Manufacturing lead time is usually the longer part — typically three to six weeks for made-to-size units.
What frame material is best?
Vinyl offers the best value and strong efficiency. Fiberglass is more rigid, more durable, and holds paint well. Clad wood gives a premium interior look at a higher price. We recommend based on your home’s style, exposure, and budget.
Do I need a permit to replace windows?
Like-for-like replacements often do not require a permit, but changing an opening size, adding a new window, or installing egress windows generally does. We confirm the requirement for your project and pull permits when needed.
Can you replace windows without damaging my stucco?
In most cases yes — retrofit installation keeps the existing frame and disturbs very little of the surrounding stucco. When the frames are rotted or the openings need repair, a full-frame replacement is better, and we patch and finish the stucco afterward.
What is an egress window and do I need one?
An egress window is a window large enough to escape through in an emergency. Any legal bedroom is required to have one. If you are converting a room into a bedroom or finishing a basement or ADU, egress is typically required for the permit.
Do the windows come with a warranty?
Yes. The units carry manufacturer warranties — often lifetime or long-term on frames and glass seals — and our installation is backed by our own workmanship warranty.
